Digital Camcorder Redux

Redux

This is a blog about movies and how digital camcorders relate to them. At times, I will simply reflect on the uses of camcorders and other technology in filmmaking. In other posts, I might go on a rant about a movie, and how I’d re-do a particular scene, with a digital camcorder. Like if I had a Canon DC40 Dvd Camcorder, I’d easily be able to shoot a new ending to Da Vinci Code. That ending kinda sucked. And with a DVD Video Camera, all you need are some blank discs. It can’t get any easier than that. (Oh, yeah and I’d need a ticket to France. But that’s beside the point.)

Isn’t technology grand? It gives you the power to create. And with camcorders these days, almost anybody can make and re-interpret movies. Just look at You Tube. Internet gold.

Basically, this blog will be about technology & film. And what I want to create or pastiche or critique.

[...] When did television become so expensive to watch? I swear, it would prove to be more cost effective to buy a dvd camcorder and make you’re own entertainment, which was the idea behind this blog actually. [...]
