Waiting for the night
J.Lo is scheduled to appear on “American Idol” next week. This appearance is part of her publicity tour for her new spanish-language album, “Como Ama Un Mujer”. I can’t escape the news plugs on yahoo or google about allegedly well her marriage to Marc Antony is. Who cares? If the woman can sing, Simon Cowell will be able to figure it out.
I can’t believe “Idol” is getting almost A-list talent. I thought the Prince thing was just an anomoly, like he lost a bet or something. But did Gwen Stefani and Jennifer Lopez lose a bet to the same booking agent? My buddy, Last Night a DJ Saved My Life, pointed out how well Stefani did on last weeks guest spot. Her and Akon did an decent job with “The Sweet Escape”.
I guess artists do have to acknowledge that Fox has got their finger to the pulse of what crap America is into these days. Seriously though, anybody (or another network) with a broadcast quality camcorder can shoot this show. I know ABC tried their best with “Who has Talent” or whatever the hell that show was called. Guess ya gotta have the cranky Brit to grab the real ratings gold. I do have to admire his honesty. The man usually hits it on the head, he just needs to work on his delivery sometimes.
I agree with Simon, Sanjaya has got to go. Look, someone took upon himself/herself & even made a parody t-shirt to make their case.

At least it represents how nice his hair is. Sanjaya’s cute, but just not Idol material (whatever that means anyway).
