Disturbia x 3

Disturbia wins again at the box office for the third week in a row! I love the round-up at Defamer, really puts everything into perspective. I love their little joke about Shia’s agent laughing all the way to the bank. I can just imagine LaBeouf’s manager and/or agents throwing piles of money in air, jumping up and down in their Tommy Hilfiger sleepwear.

I wonder if Mark, the head writer at Defamer, took a long time deliberating over that joke, or does it come naturally to him. Imagine him or one of the staff writers in a dusty apartment haggering over each word on his discount sheets (cuz that advertising money doesn’t pay that much). Either way, the site is hilarious. You can be having a crap day and read Defamer and know there’s gonna be someone there for you to make cynical jokes about Hollywood. Defamer may be shopping at Rockaway bedding for luxurious sheets (unlike Shia’s agents), but he still knows how to spot cynics and fakes from a mile away.
