Joost: Internet TV on demand

My friend Mike was just talking my ear off about Joost, this new television on demand service. You can watch tons of shows online for free (at least with the beta version). This sounds awesome. It’s like a TiVo fused with youtube or something. They already have shows from MTV, Comedy Central, WB shows and tons more.

I would really be interested in learning how they pitch the service to television networks. They could feature a behind-the-scenes look of how Joost was created. I think it would be fun to follow them around with a mini dv or dvd video camera.

I don’t know how much it’s gonna cost in the future. But right now it’s free with an invite. Now if they have “The State” or other hard to find cancelled television shows that I loved, I’m am so there no matter the cost.
